In August (20th – 25th) one of the largest and most important conferences in the
power engineering world will take place: CIGRE 2021 Centennial eSession. This
event is the international leading event for Power System industry, gathering
worldwide experts in even numbered years to discuss and learn about the future of
the industry and to display the latest solutions for the whole value chain, from
generation to distribution. The CIGRE Session is a comprehensive event that offers
- during a whole week - an extensive range of activities to more than 3600 delegates
among 9600 exhibition visitors.

CIGRE NGN Colombia is offering one (1) golden ticket for the CIGRE 2021
Centennial eSession.

• You must be a member of CIGRE NGN Colombia.

o For undergraduate and graduate students, the membership is
completely free. Contact us at informacion@cigrecolombia.org for
more information.
o Professionals working at one of the following companies can
participate without registration as these companies are part of
CIGRE Colombia: CIDET, Consejo Nacional de Operación, HART,
HMV, IEB, ISA INTERCOLOMBIA, ISA, MVM, PHC, PTI, ISA
TRANSELCA, XM, GEB, EPM, CELSIA, GE, Consultoría
Colombiana (WSP).
o The membership for professionals under 35 years of age (individual
category II members) has an annual cost of COP$ 325,000,
applicable for each of the first two years of membership. Contact us
at informacion@cigrecolombia.org for more information.
• All answers must be written in English, as the event will be held in this
language. Send it as a PDF file. All answers must be one page in length
maximum. There is no format for the answer, be creative!
• The winner will be selected by CIGRE Colombia based on motivation.
• The winner will be contacted on April 19th to confirm his or her participation.
• The cost of the ticket is approximately €1,000. Money will NOT be given to
the winner. The prize is a virtual golden ticket for the CIGRE 2021
Centennial eSession.
• The ticket is only valid for the CIGRE 2021 Centennial eSession, which is
a virtual event.
• The ticket must be used exclusively by the selected winner. The ticket is
non-transferable.
• The winner will make a public presentation with the main takeaways of the
event.
• By submitting your proposal, you agree and consent to your personal data
which you provide to CIGRE Colombia in your proposal being processed,
collected, used, disclosed and/or retained by CIGRE Colombia and its
members, officers, employees, servants, agents, representatives and sub-
contractors for (a) the purposes of administering the Contest “Win a Golden
Ticket for the CIGRE 2021 Centennial eSession!” and in relation to your
participation in the same, (b) promotional, marketing and publicity purposes
relating to the Contest, (c) for CIGRE Colombia’s conduct of research,
analysis and development activities (including data analytics, surveys
and/or profiling) to enhance CIGRE Colombia’s programme offerings and
operations, and (d) reference and archival purposes, in accordance with
CIGRE Colombia’s policies and processes relating to personal data
protection.
• CIGRE Colombia reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify,
suspend, extend, or cancel the Contest (or any portion thereof) in the event
 CIGRE Colombia is prevented from executing the Contest as contemplated
herein by any event beyond CIGRE Colombia’s control.
