SAMSUNG Electro-Mechanics Phils. Corp.

Established in July 1997 and is located at the City of Calamba, Laguna. SEMPHIL started
its mass production by February 2000 and formally inaugurated November of year 2000.
SEMPHIL manufacturers Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Inductor and Chip Resistor
which are commonly used in electronic gadgets. In 2008, SEMPHIL started to be recognized and
was given several awars by PEZA including hall of fame awards as one of the Best Employer in
the Philippines.

SEMPHIL is one of the subsidiaries Samsung Electro-Mechanics located in Korea and a

maker of passive components which devotes its human resources and technology to create
superior products and services through innovation, ingenuity and technology. SEMPHIL is in

ENGINEERS
Are responsible for supervising and improving production, ensuring quality work in an efficient
manner. Ensure that safety protocols are practiced and well implemented, report issues to the
Manager, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and profit. Engineers do root-cause
analysis and do counter-measure, elimination of problem and improve the process.
