EXPLANATION. Direction: Answer the following questions in the space provided.

1. What can you say about the quotation, “We are not makers of history; we are made by history ” by
Martin Luther King, Jr? Give a specific situation where you can apply this.

The quote could be saying that society is relying on the past for newer innovations and that new
ideas in the modern world are sparce. The quote could also mean that we expand on what we have
learned from previous generations and that history has heavily influenced our decisions.
Unlike what happen to me because when i was 1st year, I failed some of my major Subject and
the History or the past molds me that i need to strive harder and smarter so that i can get higher
Grades. Past is in the past we must look back inorder to have a better present to apply what is the
lesson in the past and to repeat the Victory.
