Clinical Experience Grading:

Students are evaluated on the basis of criteria as stated in the evaluation tool, available on our Canvas
site. Input is received from clinical personnel, with the clinical instructor awarding the clinical grade.
At the time of the final clinical evaluation a rating of “S” MUST be attained in all bolded criteria for
successful completion of the course. Students should expect to be counseled frequently regarding
strengths and weaknesses. Formal written evaluation of each student will occur upon completion of the
final clinical practicum for the quarter.

Late Work
Late work will be accepted with a penalty. You will lose 5% of the assignment's worth per calendar day
it is late. The maximum penalty will be 20%. It is always better to turn in an assignment late than to not
turn it in at all. In fact it is much better.

Academic Integrity
Please review the Ethics Policy as outlined in the Student Handbook. If any plagiarism or academic
dishonesty is suspected the situation will be discussed with instructor and/or associate dean.
Consequences may include loss of points or dismissal from the program.
