1. Request for drawl and payment of HRA in case of SPM, Renigunta SO in Tirupati
Division and do justice: -
The SPM quarters of Renigunta SO in Tirupati division are dequarterised w.e.f.
21.01.2021 and the HRA is being drawn w.e.f. 21.01.2021. It is fact that the SPM quarters is
not in habitual condition as there is no electricity, water connection to the quarters since many
years. Further, the quarters were being utilized as store rooms by Tirupati divisional office.
Many old records, scrap, furniture dumped for many years in the quarters have been weeded
out in the month of February 2021. It is very injustice the SPM was not allowed the drawl and
payment of HRA by the SPs Tirupati concerned prolonged the issue with fabricating the
matter. On the other hand the official is being requested for payment of HRA till such time of
providing the facilities since day one of the assumption as SPM Renigunta SO on 29.09.2018.
Hence it is requested for payment of HRA for the retrospective period. The official submitted
his representation through the SPOs, Tirupati.

2. Provision of accommodation for the SC/ST Employees Association at Tirupati division:
-
The provision of accommodation last allotted to Tirupati divisional Association is
converted into construction of proposed conference hall. The accommodation allotted for more
than two times so far at Tirupati division and again the same was taken back for other purpose.
Hence, it is requested to examine the proposal for allotment of the provision of accommodation
at Postal Staff quarters, Tirupati.

3. Request for restoration of MTS post at Renigunta Grade-I Post Office: -

Renigunta SO in Tirupati Division is erstwhile norm based LSG office converted into
Grade-I Post Office which is now merged as HSG-II on consequent upon merger of Grade
Postmasters. This office is having clear establishment of MTS post on par with all such Post
offices in the status from ‘B’ class SOs to HOs in Tirupati Division. It is stated that this office
MTS post has been attached to Tirupati HO. Therefore, the staffs are facing lot of
inconvenience due to non-availability of MTS service. Hence, it is requested to examine the
matter for restoration of MTS post at Renigunta SO so as to avoid inconvenience. On
consequent restoration of MTS post, one GDS packer post of Renigunta SO may be redeployed
to another vacant place in the division.

4. Discrimination in allotment and retention of Postal Staff Quarters Tirupati : -

While working as OA Divisional Office Tirupati, the official Sri P. Reddeppa staying
in Postal Staff Quarters Tirupati. Subsequently the official is promoted and posted as
Postmaster Grade-I, Puttur SO in Tirupati division on 19.06.2014 on successful in PM Gr-I
exam. As Puttur SO is located in a private PO building and it is not having attached quarters
for staying the SPM at duty station, the official requested for retention of the quarters at postal
quarters Tirupati as there are vacant quarters and no demand. Though there is provision of
rules for retention of the quarters, the case was not examined and taken up for retention but
rejected with ordered for payment of damage charges whereas similar case of then Postmaster
Grade-I Tirumala SO Sri Vijayabhaskar and who is already having attached quarters at
Tirumala SO have been allowed and allotted staff quarters at Tirupati. It is clear case of
discrimination in the administration. One staff quarters has been allotted for accommodation of
Tirupati Divisional GDS Co-operative Credit Society as there are vacant quarters at staff
quarters Tirupati. Similarly many other staff like Sri P. Venktramaih, PA Tirumala, Prasad, PA
Tirumala, Srikanth, PA Tirumals etc was allotted quarters at staff quarters, Tirupati though
there is no such provision of rules allowed. In this regard, it is requested to take necessary
action and do justice in the case of then SPM, Puttur SO now working as SPM, Renigunta SO.
