STACKING RESOURCE ANCHORS
1 Build Rapport Small Talk. Mirror and Match.
2 Desired Emotions-Check type of Show the list of positive emotions. Fast/Slow heartbeat. Let client pick 4 states s/he has
emotion to stack experienced in the past, from the list chosen and remembers them vividly.
3 Pre-Frame I will be using this method called anchoring. I will also be touching your knuckles, is it alright?
Let client choose the positive emotions I will ask you to recall events in your life which presented you these positive feelings. Bring back
from your list those memories as vivid as possible and when you feel the positive feelings, nod your head
4 Stack all the positive states client has Recall a time when you felt (absolutely, totally)…….
chosen from your list one at a time. Go back to that time, SEE what you saw, HEAR what you heard and FEEL the feeling of being

Anchor ONLY ONCE on DIFFERENT Recall a time when you experienced this emotion of ………………………., touch the knuckle

8 Break state Spell name backwards, phone numbers backwards, number of blue chairs…etc
9 Collapse the anchors Tell client, I am going to touch both knuckles and you might feel BOTH the emotions at the same
time…like mixed feelings. Then when I let go the negative, the positive will take over.
Notice how you feel. Touch both knuckles, watch client’s facial expression. Release THE
NEGATIVE knuckle when client’s face is symmetrical and hold on to the positive knuckle until you
see a positive facial expression. Let client tell you the experience. Break state
10 Rating and Future Pace Think of an event in the past which brought you the old emotion. How do you rate the old negative
emotion now 1-10, ten being intense?
Now think of an event in the future, which would have brought the old feeling in the past, now
notice it is gone?
