Every journey has beginnings and endings.

Many years ago, our children embarked on a journey towards

a better tomorrow. They started with almost nothing and with uncertainty of finishing the race. We,
their parents and with their teachers, journeyed with them. We saw how rough and smooth the road
they traveled. Sometimes, they misread the signs and lost their ways, but eventually, finding the right
path in the end.

Today, marks the end of a rollercoaster ride-like journey of our beloved children. This pandemic had
brought us into a quandary. Many things had changed. Many things had brought us anxiety. Many
questions had been raised. We thought it would be impossible for education to continue these uncertain
times. But look where we are today, we are at the finish line waiting to reap the fruits of our labor. We
all can proudly say WE DID IT!

To our dear teachers, thank you for your support and dedication. We know how hard you worked for
our children. Despite of the truth that this kind of learning delivery is new to you, you had shown how
resilient and dynamic you are just to teach and support our children and we parents as well. You never
failed us with our expectations. You truly deserve our congratulations and gratitude.

To my fellow parents, congratulations too for finishing the journey with your children. I know how you
burned the midnight oil just to help your children. But if there are some things that this new normal had
brought us, it gave us time with our children, and we also learned with them. It is like we were all back in
school. No one knows how long this set-up will be, but as parents, we are also dynamic like our teachers,
we will make it through as we did today. Congratulations for a job well done!

To our dear children, my warmest felicitations for reaching the finish line. As an old wise saying says,
“Through hard work and perseverance, the snail reached the ark.” You had been put in a situation that
you are almost on your own. Module learning is something you never had before. In just a snap of a
finger, you were taken out of your classrooms and were confined within the walls of your homes. We
know you had a lot of doubts and fears. You almost gave up because you do not know what to do. You
are meeting terms and concepts you never heard before. Sometimes you felt so helpless because your
teacher is out of reach and your parents are too void of knowledge about your lessons. But you never
gave up because you have dreams and ambitions. You have the determination and the enthusiasm to
fulfill your dreams in life. To all of you, congratulations, not only because you survived but because you
also thrived!

Lastly, to God Almighty who gave us all the blessings that we need to make this through. His love and
care are truly remarkable. He never left us in this journey. He was with us until the end.

To everyone who in one way or another helped our children and our school, thank you very much. As we
witness our children receive their certificates, we must put in mind that this is not yet the end for this is
the beginning of new and greater journey for them and for us as well. Let us continue to be their light
and their path. We must be with them all the way to make them feel loved, cared, and valued.

To all of you who are witnessing this virtual graduation/completion rites, welcome and thank you for
sharing your precious time with us.
