Sub: Inputs for CLD-HRDI Training Calendar “VIKAS” 2021-22

BHEL and all businesses around the world have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This Crisis calls for
a radical shift in the mindset & requires collective efforts to dive into why and how of wide-ranging interrelated
concerns like keeping employees and customer safe, shoring-up cash and liquidity, reorienting operations and
government support programs.

It is imperative to keep the morale of employees high and work efficiently along with ensuring quality and
safety to tide over these tough times together. We need to work towards continuous upgradation of skills &
knowledge of our employees and equip them with necessary inputs to work efficiently and effectively.

CLD invites your valuable suggestion for programs and interventions to be taken up by CLD-HRDI for 2021-22.

A communication in this regard was sent on 12th November, 2020 to Product committee/Technical
committee Chairman of Units and divisions for technical skill requirement and skill gaps.

Based on your guidance, CLD will revisit, rework and realign the training calendar to meet and exceed the
present and future requirements of learning interventions for the workforce leading to excellence in quality
and delivery.

You may kindly instruct the concerned to compile and share the information after internal deliberations at unit
level in the attached format. The same must reach CLD latest by 31st December, 2020 to Ms. Upma Roy, Dy.
Manager-CLD (upmaroy@bhel.in) and Ms. Sudeshna Mukherjee, Sr.DGM-CLD (sudeshna.mukherjee@bhel.in).
