FREQUENCY ADVERBS
We use some adverbs to describe how frequently we do an activity. These are called adverbs of frequency
and include:

100% Always I always go to bed before 11 p.m.
Siempre Yo siempre voy a la cama ante de 11 p.m.
90% Usually I usually have cereal for breakfast.
Usualmente Yo usualmente tomo cereal para el desayuno.
70% Often* / Frequently I often surf the internet.
Frecuentemente Yo frecuentemente navego en internet.
50% Sometimes I sometimes forget my wife's birthday.
Algunas veces Yo algunas veces olvido el cumpleaños de mi esposa.
5% hardly ever / rarely I hardly ever drink alcohol.
casi nunca Yo casi nunca tomo alcohol.
0% Never I never swim in the sea.
nunca Yo nunca nado en el mar.
Frequency Adverbs go after of the verbs. Ex: Frequency Adverbs go before of the verbs. Ex:
Subject + verb Be + ADVERB + complement Subject + ADVERB + verbs + complement
Para preguntar la frecuencia de alguna actividad usamos: How often…? ¿Con qué frecuencia…?
How often is Pablo sad? Pablo is never sad How often do they go to the school? They always go to
the school.
