ARTPARK (AI & Robotics Technology Park) @ IISc is pleased to invite highly motivated and talented faculty members,
along with their undergraduate and post-graduate students, to apply for innovation grants in the areas of Artificial
Intelligence, Robotics and Autonomous Systems. The objective of this program is to expose talented students to
opportunities in the upcoming domain of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Autonomous Systems, providing high-
level guidance, promoting innovation, and facilitating skills training leading to application development and
prototype building. The program provides grants (including stipends for students) to support final-year projects (in
the case of undergraduates) and master’s thesis (in the case of post-graduates).
Eligibility criteria
Faculty members of any engineering department of an academic institution recognized by AICTE/UGC are eligible to
apply for project funding. The UG students that the faculty member proposes to include in the project must have
completed at least six semesters of their program. For project proposals involving PG students, the students must
have completed at least two semesters of their curriculum. A final-year undergraduate project can have a maximum
of four students, and a postgraduate project is meant to support one master’s student.
Once this is done, the instructions for proposal submission will be mailed to the respective faculty member. Selection of
project proposals will be done by ARTPARK’s technical committee.
Prizes for best two projects in each category (UG and PG)
The ARTPARK student innovation grant program envisages awarding prizes to the most innovative projects. The top
two projects in each category (UG and PG), will be selected for cash prizes at the end of the year. The prize amounts
will be as follows:
First prize: Rs. 1 lakh
Second prize: Rs. 50,000
Apart from the cash prizes, the winning students will also have access to the ARTPARK Spark Innovation Program as
