ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
ON
TREE PLANTING
November 23, 2020

INTRODUCTION

Tree planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for

forestry reclamation, or landscaping purposes.

It has not been a long time since we had heard some alarming news from all over the world
regarding the continuous destruction of our Mother Earth due to the global warming and climate
change brought about of some technological and industrial advancements and human activities in
their daily livings.

Here in the Philippines, we had been all victims of the identified effects of global warming
and climate change such the El Niño and La Niña phenomenon, flash floods even on crowded
cities and landslides on low-lying areas. Everyone had experienced how the nature showed her
rage for all the human actions and behavior towards environmental conservation and wellbeing.

OBJECTIVES

 helping to reduce greenhouse gasses and fight climate change

 improving the quality of the natural environment
 attracting more wildlife and increasing wildlife habitat.

ACCOMPLISHMENT/ACHIVEMETS

As a start, the Brgy. Planted almost 50 trees on November 23, 2020. At the vicinity of the
school Danlag National High School, particularly around the river side; the said area was pre-
arranged by our Brgy. Captain Judith J. Magbanua. The barangay workers have already started
identifying safety sites where the seedlings will be placed. Tree planting activity is not just being
simple tree planting, we will now also require students to take care of and nurture the seedlings
they planted until such time that they are grown. Planting trees
is very essentials because it is considered to be the lungs of the earth since it provides all animals
the fresh air we breathe. Participants are teachers and Barangay Workers.
PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED

 Stressed trees are more likely to be targeted by some pests.

 Trees in our landscape frequently suffer from a lack of nutrients.
