PRESENTATION SKILLS

1. LEAD-IN

- Ask a question about the topic you gonna to show

Eg: When you intend to talk about ecommerce then you can ask: Do you know when
did the first online-purchasing platform come into use? or Have you got any idea of
who introduced E-commerce? or What is the biggest ecommercial business in
China/the world....

Have you ever bought anything from Amazon?

- Tell a story related to the topic (short, 2-3 sentence, maily focus on the part you
gonna talk about, avoid lengthening and going into details)

The claim that the Earth circles the Sun used to be considered as crazy and proofless
when it was first proposed by Galileo Galille in the 17th century. It took people
hundreds of years to realize the accuracy of this......

- Include audience’s experience: Asking whether the audience have encountered


the problem/issue or thought/participated in sth?

Can you name me some ecommerce companies which are flourishing in


China/Vietnam....

Do you know the annual revenue of Amazon....

Verbs:

- UP: rise (danh từ, động từ), increase (danh từ, động từ), grow, go up to, climb,

- STABLE: remain stable, no change, remain steady, stay constant, stay, maintain the
same level
Adjectives: sharp, rapid, huge, dramatic (nhanh, lớn) = substantial, considerable
