Subject: Guidelines for audio recording and written introduction

Duration: Max of 60 seconds or 1 minute

Structure
1. Greeting/friendly introduction - Be sure to mention your Bizmates
nickname. If it has a suffix, omit the suffix (e.g., SU L, mention only SU).
2. Credentials/education and career background – Highlight your business
experience, education or relevant professional training background; what
you have achieved that will help you become an effective English Trainer
3. What students can expect – Be clear on what students can expect from
you as a trainer
4. Closing/invitation to study - Hooking the student to book with you by
ending in a welcoming or inviting way

DOs:
- Must be 30-60 seconds long only
- Mention your assigned nickname in the recording
- Speak in a clear, professional and well-modulated voice
- Smile as you speak to achieve that accommodating tone
- Use your intro as your transcript

(Credentials) I worked in the Entertainment and Call Center industries which
exposed me to an environment that required very good English
Communication skills. On this regard, I have developed good conversational
English and this experience helped me become globally competitive.

in a fun but professional way. I know how excited you are to learn more so I
am here to help you. I would be more than happy to share with you my
knowledge.

Sample 2:
(Greeting) Hello and welcome to Bizmates. My name is _____.
(Credentials) I've got 8 years' worth of experience dealing with business
professionals with different nationalities in the field of public relations and
managerial industries. I was also a QA consultant, specializing in strategic
planning, training and group presentation.
(What students can expect) As your business partner, we will work together
closely on how to become globally competitive with the use of the English
language. We will have fun, interactive, and interesting lesson.
(Closing) It will be my pleasure to get to know you and be part of your goal
of achieving success. I'm looking forward to working with you.

Sample 3:
(Greeting) Hello and welcome to Bizmates! My name is ____ and it's a
pleasure to meet you.
(Credentials) I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the
University of Sto. Tomas and afterward earned my license as a nurse.
However, after my exposure to the medical field, I decided to pursue what I
love best, which is working with English as my medium. As such, became a
writer, editor, and English trainer. I am also pursuing a Master's degree in
Reading Education from the University of the Philippines Diliman and also
currently have a TESOL Certification.
(What students can expect) I've taught business and medical English for
approximately 4 years now to Korean, Chinese, and Japanese students, and
my experience, along with my passion, will help me ensure that your
sessions with me are fun and meaningful.
