HSC ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE PRACTICAL EXAM

All students of SYJC are here by informed that HSC Practical exam (2020 – 2021) for Electrical
maintenance will conducted on 9/07/2021 (Friday)

Time: 3.30 pm to 6pm

Zoom link will shared and all students should join zoom meeting with their videos on by 3.00 pm on
9/07/2021 (Friday)

From 3.15 pm to 3.30 pm on Friday (9/07/2021) all instruction regarding writing of Practical
examination will be given.

PRACTICAL’S TO BE PREPARED FOR HSC PRACTICAL EXAMINATION IS

PAPER – 1

1. TO CONTROL ONE LAMP FROM ONE PLACE IN PVC CASING CAPPING.


2. TO CONTROL TWO LAMPS FROM TWO PLACE INDEPENDENTLY PVC CASING
CAPPING.
3. TO CONTROL ONE LAMP FROM TWO PLACE (STAIR CASE WIRING) IN PVC
CONDUIT.
4. TO CARRY GODOWN WIRING IN PVC CONDUIT.
PAPER – 2

1. TO FIND IRON LOSSES OF GIVEN TRANSFORMER BY OPEN CIRCUIT TEST


(WATTMETER METHOD).
2. TO FIND VOLTAGE REGULATION OF GIVEN TRANSFORMER.
3. TO MEASURE SPEED OF THREE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR AND TO CALCULATE
PERCENTAGE SLIP.
4. TO MEASURE STARTING AND RUNING CURRENT SINGLE PHASE MOTOR.
5. TO MEASURE SPEED AND TO CHANGE D.O.R OF SINGLE PHASE INDUCTION
MOTOR.

Students will be allotted one practical from paper 1 and one practical from paper 2 before the start of
exam and students have to write the allotted practical on A4 size sheet and upload in Google
Classroom.(No Late submission will be accepted)

MARKS DISTRIBUTION FOR HSC PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

EM-I (60 MARKS)


30 marks on the basis of writing practical experiment which will be uploaded by students on Google
classroom
10 marks oral which will be taken through Google form
20 marks Term Work (JOURNAL AND TD SHEET)
EM-II (60 MARKS)
