Reflection:

Parental involvement is essential for student development and offers many benefits. It also
helps improve student behavior in the classroom. Having parents and teachers communicate
more helps students feel more motivated in their classes; their self-esteem and attitudes in
class improve.

The role of the parents in distance learning is to guide and help their child with their school
work, and to encourage them how education is important despite this pandemic we are facing.
This pandemic is causing us to stay at home, making our child unable to go to school. But this
pandemic will not stop us from pursuing and continuing our education.

Yes, it is true that students will be having difficulty in their studies because of this new
learning system. That is why teachers are asking parents to stand the role as the teacher at
home in order for children to learn something. Teachers and parents are working together to
ensure that despite this pandemic, children/students would still be able to gain and acquire
knowledge.

Teacher and Parents collaboration is very essential in child’s learning because both sides will
benefit. The parents will provide information about how his child learn and the teacher will
adjust the teaching strategies that will fit in the needs of the learner.
