Webinar for Parents and/or Guardians: Effective Ways on how to Guide Children in
their Online Study
Philosophy:

Effective learning requires a collaboration between teacher, students, and parents grounded in
mutual respect and trusts.

Objectives:

To encourage parents and other members of the family to deal with the new learning process in
guiding their child on how to manage their time and to focus on learning.

To be able to motivate learners on their study.

To make methods of teaching more effective

Specifications:

Being part of third world country, this pandemic (CoVid19) became the most challenging part in
every Filipinos. Affected of this circumstances is the education in our country. We are very used
to have a face-to-face system but all of a sudden we are now in online school without
preparations or any contingency plan. Parents and/or guardians are also affected in this
arrangement. Abrupt changes on the system are stressful to our parents. Methods and
techniques in teaching can be more effective through the help and guidance of our parents
and/or guardians.

Descriptions:

This webinar will discussed on how to deal with different challenges we encounter during E-
learning. How teacher and parent can work together for the child’s benefit. Why good
communication and time management are very important in learning progress of their children.
Encouraging our parents to guide their children in most effective way. Giving motivations and
strategies will help them to lessen the burden they are encountering on this day.

Teachers, students, parents, guardians and other member of the family.
