• You can rent any hotel or apartment in Bocagrande area, that’s in front of
the beach.

Things to do:
• walk along the wall of Cartagena until you reach cafe del mar.

• go to the castle of san felipe.

• Go to the Getsemaníneighborhood: The modern neighborhood of

Getsemaní has as its main attraction the Plaza de la Santísima Trinidad,
where quiet groups of people gather to drink beer, listen to street
performers and eat grilled arepas at the adjacent stalls.

• walk through the walled city,(ciudad amurallada) You will be able to

discover such spectacular corners as the great Plaza de la Aduana, Plaza
Bolívar, Plaza de Santo Domingo and its sculptures by Botero, Plaza de
Santa Teresa or Plaza de San Pedro Claver. (you will find good
restaurants there). try to do it at sunset but don't be too late there.

• You can buy one-day plans to go to Baru Islands or Rosario Islands, it’s
better to do it by boat, although it’s always very crowded with tourists.
(and be careful with the native sellers, most of them are intense and sell
things more expensive than they are).
 BOGOTÁ D.C

• There are many places to rent in Bogota, I recommend u the Zona Rosa,
zona G, Usaquen or Chapinero.

Things to do:

• climb the mountain of Moserrate, you can walk, cable car or train. there
you can find churches, places to eat and see the whole city from the
mountain. (It is located in the center of the city).
• walk through the oldest neighborhood in Bogota, la Candelaria you can
find restaurants cafes and museums. (It is located in the center of the
city).

• Eat in a good typical restaurant, Bogota has a very wide national

gastronomic sample and bars, one that I recommend always is Andres

 • go to the salt cathedral of zipaquira. The Salt Cathedral is an enclosure
built inside the salt mines. Is near to Bogota 50 minutes away by car.

MEDELLIN

You can rent an apartment or hotels in the poblado o laureles neigborhood.

Things to do:
• You will find many good restaurants and bars in the area of the poblado y
Lleras Park in Medellin, I also recommend passage of the river (pasaje
del Rio) and Sabaneta (it´s a little town inside the city) to eat the best
chicharrones and bueñuelos in Colombia.

• If you go to Medellin you definitely have to know the Peñol it is one of

the most beautiful places in Colombia it’s 2 hours away from Medellin by
car. Depending on your resistance, you can take up to 30 min climbing
the 740 steps of the mountain.
• Near to the Peñol you will find a beautiful little town called Guatape you
can rent a hotel or room there.
