Dear Parents

Hello parents. The days that I was in the city of Bogota went very well for me. This city has a very
cold climate, but for the days that I was there the sun helped me a lot to avoid feeling cold. My
journey started from the bus terminal to get to the house of my friend Carlos. He took me to see
some very beautiful places in this city.

The first one we visited was the soccer stadium. A big place called Nemesio Camacho, where
teams like Millonarios and Santa Fe play. I must say that I don't like soccer very much. I like
museums and tourist sites better, that's why my friend took me to visit the Museum of Modern
Art in Bogota, where there were works of Art by Maestro Fernando Botero, a Colombian painter
and sculptor. Carlos and I took a break, we went to eat my favorite dish, pasta.

After noon and finally we went to the Monserrate hill, a place where religion, nature and sports
are combined. We went up there walking although it was a long journey, I enjoyed it a lot and took
many photographs, when we meet you will see all the photographs that I took.

At the end of the day Carlos and I had a hot chocolate, because at that time the weather was cold.
I would like to return to Bogota, it is a wonderful city. Carlos sends you greetings.

Dad and mom I miss you and hope to see you very soon.

With love Daniela.

LETTER 2

Dear grandfather

Grandpa, I'm writing to tell you about my last vacation. I was in an incredible
city, Santa Marta. My parents and I had planned a vacation to get to know the
sea. And we traveled to Santa Marta.

I had never traveled by plane, but the experience was very wonderful. But I must
tell you that the plane was moving a lot, but I could see the mountains and other
places from the sky, a beautiful landscape. When we got to Santa Marta, the first
thing I felt was the change in temperature, the city was very hot. The first thing I
wanted to do was go directly to the sea, I was very excited. But my parents told
me that first we had to find a hotel to drop off our bags and get some rest.

After a few hours we finally went to the sea, I felt very good, blue water, waves,
the beach, and a clear sky, a perfect day for me. We were there almost all day, I
did not want to go but I knew that at some point I would return. The next day we
were in a park called Bolivar, a park with many trees and a fountain in the center.
We had great ice cream, bubblegum my favorite. My last visit was to a town
called Taganga, where we ate fagots. Before returning home we bought some
souvenirs for the family. Soon we will see you grandfather and I will give you a
detail of the great trip I had.

With love Daniela.
