1. What are the things you like and dislike the most about your current city?

What I like most about my city Barranquilla, the people are very friendly, this city
has different tourist sites such as the boardwalk, the window of the world, the
carnival house, etc. Barranquilla is well known for one of the most important
festivals that is the carnival, it has a diverse gastronomy, some of the typical dishes
are mojarra lora with coconut rice, fried plantains, salad and panela juice or
alternatively a very cold beer.
We can also find the beaches of Puerto Colombia near Barranquilla. In terms of
mobility, our city has been improving with the support of the mayor's office, they
have applied the roads. The climate is quite diverse, as we can have a cold morning
and a very hot afternoon.
What I dislike about this city is the insecurity, the strong heat, the streams, the
traffic, a lot of solid waste in public places.

2. Describe the English-speaking city your group selected in terms of food, transportation,
people, places, weather, interesting activities you could do there, etc.
The city chosen by the group was LONDON, this city is well known for the Tower of
London, the Royal Botanic Garden of Kew, the site formed by the Palace, Westminster
Abbey, the Church of Saint Margaret and Greenwich, the climate is quite unpredictable, it
presents the 4 seasons in the year, spring, autumn, winter and summer. The typical dishes
of this city are cake, mashed potatoes, fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese and sticky toffee
pudding, among the customs is tea time.
Public transport in London is quite expensive, unlike other European capitals (taxi, bus and
double-decker subway). The inhabitants of this city love flowers and nature, to the point
that, in any supermarket, it is normal to see a bouquet of flowers next to everyday food
products on the checkout tape.
 Lo que más me gusta de mi ciudad Barranquilla, la gente es muy amable, esta
ciudad tiene diferentes sitios turísticos como el malecón, la ventana del mundo, la
casa del carnaval, etc. Barranquilla es muy conocida por una de las fiestas más
importantes que es el carnaval, tiene una gastronomía diversa, algunos de los platos
típicos son la mojarra lora con arroz con coco, plátanos fritos, ensalada y jugo de
panela o en su defecto una cerveza bien fría.
También podemos encontrar las playas de Puerto Colombia cerca de Barranquilla.
En cuanto a la movilidad nuestra ciudad ha ido mejorando con el apoyo de la
alcaldía, han aplicado las vialidades. El clima es bastante diverso, ya que podemos
tener una mañana fría y una tarde muy calurosa.
Lo que no me gusta de esta ciudad es la inseguridad, el calor fuerte, los riachuelos,
el tráfico, muchos desechos sólidos en los lugares públicos.

La ciudad elegida por el grupo fue LONDRES, esta ciudad es muy conocida por la Torre de
Londres, el Jardín Botánico Real de Kew, el sitio formado por el Palacio, la Abadía de
Westminster, la Iglesia de Santa Margarita y Greenwich, el clima es bastante impredecible ,
presenta las 4 estaciones del año, primavera, otoño, invierno y verano. Los platos típicos de
esta ciudad son la torta, el puré de papas, el fish and chips, los espaguetis a la boloñesa y el
sticky toffee pudding, entre las costumbres está la hora del té.
El transporte público en Londres es bastante caro, a diferencia de otras capitales europeas
(taxi, autobús y metro de dos pisos). Los habitantes de esta ciudad aman las flores y la
naturaleza, hasta el punto de que, en cualquier supermercado, es normal ver un ramo de
flores junto a los productos de alimentación cotidianos en la cinta de la caja.
Me gusta barranquilla por la alegría de las personas y por sus fiestas reconocidas que es el
carnaval, tiene diferentes sitios turísticos a su alrededor y Londres es conocido por la torre
del reloj llamada big ben.
El transporte público en Londres es bastante caro, a diferencia de barranquilla. En las dos
ciudades hay mucho tráfico.
Las Personas en el caribe son amables y alegres,
platos típicos en barranquilla es mojarra lora con arroz con coco y jugo de panela o
en su defecto una cerveza bien fría; en Londres es una tradición la hora del té
acompañado de pasteles y sándwiches.

El clima en Londres siempre este nublado, se presentan las 4 estaciones en cambio

barranquilla es una ciudad donde hace mucho calor y al llover se forman unos
arroyos inundando las carretera.
