Our Quality Standards

The policy of Care Facility Management is to provide services of the very highest standards,
which conform to every aspect of individual customer contractual requirements.  Through
quality of service, to both clients and staff, the company will seek to expand the services it offers
to an ever-increasing customer base.

Quality in every aspect of the business is a necessity, in order that consistency and reliability of
supply is implemented and maintained at all levels.

A programme of regular audits and management reviews will ensure that a commitment to
quality at all levels is maintained, and compliance with the quality assurance system.

We will establish and monitor business objectives aimed at providing the optimum service to our
customers and staff. These objectives are underpinned by documented processes covering all
aspects of our business.  The processes are continually reviewed and improved to ensure that our
customers consistently receive the best quality service. To achieve this we aim to:

 Satisfy our customers on a consistent basis


 Maintain our existing customer portfolio
 Retain our staff through the staff retention policy
 Provide the best training for our employees
 Keep abreast of legislation changes

This quality policy is fully endorsed by the Managing Director and senior management of the
company.

All our employees are made aware of their responsibilities within the quality management
system to a level appropriate to their function and responsibility within the company.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY


General Statement

Care Facility Management recognises that commitment to a high level of safety makes good
business sense. It also recognises that health & safety should be considered a core business
function and must also adapt to changes on an ongoing basis.

The legislation built around the Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 places upon employers a
range of statutory duties, both specific and general in nature aimed at ensuring, so far as is
reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees at work.
A positive Health and Safety culture will be encouraged within the company at all times. The
performance of our employees and the company will be monitored to pre-determined standards
with continual improvements being made to Health and Safety standards.

Care Facility Management has full regard for the occupational health and safety of its employees
and those affected by its undertaking and fully accepts the implication of the statutory duties
imposed on it.  Care Facility Management also recognises the need to enlist active support of
employees, at every level, in achieving satisfactory standards.

Employees are reminded of their own duties to take reasonable care for the health & safety of
themselves and others and to co-operate so far as is necessary to allow any statutory duties or
requirements on the company to be performed or complied with.

Care Facility Management aims to achieve high standards in health and safety management and
performances.

The objectives of the company’s health and safety policies are:

to promote standards of safety, health and welfare that comply fully with the terms and
requirements of health and safety at work legislation and approved codes of practice

Accidents and near misses are fully investigated and appropriate action taken to reduce the
likelihood of their occurrence to develop full and effective consultation on health and safety
matters.

to provide all employees with the information, instruction, training and supervision they need to
work safely and efficiently

to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for employees with adequate facilities and
arrangements for their welfare

The company will review the policy at a minimum annually

Environmental Policy
The company will take environmental considerations into account in all its activities. Ultimate
responsibility rests with management team. All employees of the company have a part to play in
minimising adverse effects on the environment. The company will develop and resource
programmes for the implementation of its Environmental Policy and will monitor and audit them
on a regular basis.

More particularly the company has set the following objectives:


 Encourage employee involvement in environmental issues through induction and further
training
 Promote energy conservation by efficient use, careful planning and design with due
regard to improved energy utilisation and appropriate investment in energy efficient
measures
 Promote environmentally policies in all its commercial activities, including purchasing
and investment
 Expect similar environmental standards from all parties with whom the company deals
 To encourage customers and suppliers to contribute towards a better environment through
recycling, use of energy efficient and environmentally friendly products
 Comply with the requirements of relevant legislation
 To use energy efficient lighting and equipment
 To reduce and, where practicable, prevent pollution through the use of water based and
environmentally friendly products
 To use low emission vehicles through out the organisation to minimise the impact on the
environment
 To raise awareness of staff and employees of the Company’s environmental impact,
activities and performance and to promote individual good practice
