Please share your experiences relative to Instructional Delivery and Supervision:

My experienced relative to instructional delivery and supervision has been quite
challenging especially as new public school teacher. Aside from me, also both parents
and students were having great adjustments with this new normal education. With the
help of technology, open and clear communication were ensured for asking questions
and clarifications since the instructions and directions given were not be easily
understood by all learners as it was not given to them in first hand manner.
I also experienced to manage the parents’ behavior and discipline in following
our proper health protocols for safety during our modules releasing/retrieval.
A proper communication and guidance to the parents about the learning status
and progress of our learners were important in this new normal education setting in
ensuring the development and effectiveness of learning.

With this new normal education, technology has an integral part especially
relative to teaching resources. I am so thankful that our school has a desktop, which
readily available for a teacher who do not have a laptop like me. I used this device in
downloading, checking and editing modules and making other learning activity sheets.
It is also a big help in recording the summative and performance task of my learners
using electronic grading sheets. A Copy of the Most Essential Learning Competencies
(MELCs), Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) or Learning Activity Sheets (LASs) was saved
and available both soft and hard copies.
With the help of our school riso a vast production of modules are amazing, as it
was not time consuming rather fast and feasible. It has been great experience to
manipulate this kind of device that in every integration of technology there are always
a discovery of learning and experience that useful to us.

Please share your experiences relative to Status of Learners:
Every learner has a different learning status at this pace of new normal
education. I observed that most of the parents were always supportive and active in
supporting their child/children studies through self -learning modules. However, some
of the parents were hardly get/retrieve the modules in many reasons, like what I had
found out to the one parent of my learners. A man about to reach being a senior used
to walk a long distance from their home to school just to get/retrieve the modules.
Upon knowing his particular situation, I felt so pity on him that time for me to offer him
enough fare to get home. I know aside from the stories we heard there are lots of
worse situation happening a midst this pandemic.
In addition, upon conducting home visitations I was found out that some of my
learners were not having a place which can be conducive for learning that there are
lots of destructions surrounds them but in instance they were trying to study and
answers their self- learning modules to acquire an education.
