BACKGROUND vibrant cities, where the rich culture of street food is

Florencio Escabas “Tatay Entoy” makes a reef eel soup
held dear by the city’s many residents. And Leslie
Enjambre makes the famous lechon in Cebu.

Street in Cebu developed over the centuries because

Cebu is one of the main trading ports in the Philipines.
Street vendors prepared food to serve these people. And
you see a lot of people still enjoying the same meals that
have been cooked for generation.

It is where you learn about history and culture of other

people. Street Food is an exploration not just of a city’s
food, but of the conditions that have pushed people into
creating dishes by only using the cheapest, most readily
available ingredients.

world.

inspiration from Street food Asia shows in Netflix. Similar
to other food shows where you get to travel to exciting
cities without leaving the comfort of your home. It will be
a traditional AVP with modern elements for added
entertainment value.

The AVP will have Archival footage combined with face to

face interviews and follows street food vendors and their
history, which is intertwined with the big picture of how
influential street food is on their native country.

The AVP will have a consistent color scheme and tone

throughout the video. Tones of ocean blue and festival
colors will be applied.

The voice over will make use of a voice talent with a

enthusiastic voice.

Talents will look like an average to poor Filipino in his

mid-seventies. Poverty looking. A very convincing make-
up is essential to pull the sequence off.

The AVP will mainly use Folk-like music such as culture

songs of Cebuanos. An alternative to the interview
scenes would be mainly light music most especially for
showing of street food in high angle shots. The OBB and
credits will make use of Philippine folk with upbeat music.
