Program Outcomes:
The graduate of the BS Agriculture program should have developed the ability to:

1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice (PQF level 6descriptor);
2. Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino;
3. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (PQF level6 descriptor);agricultural development;
4. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibilities;
5. Preserve and promote “ Filipino historical and cultural heritage’ ( based on RA 7722),

Specific to Agriculture:
6. Generate and share knowledge relevant to specific fields in the study of agriculture;
7. Diagnose and analyze strength & limitations, opportunities and treats in the practice of agriculture profession;
8. Formulate and implement agricultural development plans and programs;
9. Manage resources effectively and efficiently, monitor and evaluate plans and programs in agriculture;
10. Understand and apply the concepts of agricultural productivity and sustainability oin the content of national, and glob al development;
11. Engage in agricultural production and post production activities
12. Employt relevant tools in information technology in solving agriculture related problems; and
13. Advocate agriculture laws, rules, regulations and related policies; and
14. Implement agricultural development compatible with resource conservations.

COURSE NAME Agricultural Extension and Communication. ( AGRI 2101)


COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed for all plain BS Agriculture students as well as those enrolled in related field in agriculture . Their basic
knowledge would be used as points of entry and as specific examples as regards the application of various extension and
communication methods and techniques.
