•Fill the 168mL of KYB K2C (SAE5W or Bel-Ray sa
#40) oil into the rear shock body and gas reservoir.
'Insert the piston end of the push rod assembly into
the rear shock body slowly, and pump the push rod
until ail the air is forced out of the rear shock body-

A. Gaps

'Slide the stop up to the top of the push rod then

lightly tap around the sea' with a suitable
and
mallet, and push the seal assembly 10 mm (0.04 in)
down. Remove the circlip. A.Piston B. Seal Assembly.

•Push the seal assembly into the rear shock body

until it just clears the circlip groove.
'Check the circlip. If it is deformed or damaged, re-
place it with a-new one.
'Fit the circlip into the groove in the rear shock body..
