REMEDIAL CLASS/REMEDIATION
Remedial programs are designed to close the gap between what a pupil knows and what he’s
expected to know. They often target reading or math skills. In many cases, pupils are removed from their
regular classroom and taught in another setting.

Though our assessment of our pupils we have found out that there are number of pupils that are
having problem with reading, so the school initiated a program on reading as part of our remediation. Pupils
in each grade level were selected and teachers were given schedule for their remediation for the selected
pupils.

Remedial teaching involves taking a pupil where one is and starting from the point leading to
greater achievement. It is just effective teaching in which the learner and his/her needs occupy the focal
point. Remedial teaching is an integral part of all good teaching. It is based upon careful diagnosis of the
teacher to identify possible pupils needing remediation.

Remediation is done via google meet every Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 am – 11:00 am.
