Principles and Methods of Effective Teaching

First step in becoming a great teacher is to learn the


deeper meaning of teaching.

*Components of effective teaching

 The Teacher

A teacher purpose is not to create students in his own


image, but to develop students who can create their
own image. He directs every classroom story with the
script of new learning and materials to use to make
the student understand more.

 The learner

The lead role of every classroom story, he plays the


vital role, the one who wants to learn and be
somebody in the future.

 The classroom

The place where the learning begins.

 The Curriculum
The process of selecting, organizing, executing and
evaluating learning experiences on the basis of the
needs and abilities of the learners.
 Materials of Instruction
To make the lesson more understandable, using other
resources is a big help to the learners

 Administration

Admin is in charge of Planning of school programs and


activities.

Directing school work and formulating and executing


educational policies.
Coordinating administrative and supervisory activities
Providing the necessary leadership.
Evaluating the teaching personnel and school program
Keeping records and reporting results

Role of teacher

Teachers play a very important role in a student’s life. As


a teacher, one must bring out the best in students and
inspire them to strive for greatness. Students are
considered as the future of the nation and humankind, and
a teacher is believed to be a credible guide for their
advancement. Not only do they guide students in
academics or extracurricular activities, but teachers are
also responsible for shaping a child’s future, making
him/her a better human being. A teacher imparts
knowledge, good values, tradition, modern-day challenges
and ways to resolve them within students. A good teacher
is an asset to the students.
Teaching as Science and Art

Scientific teaching is more on asking question,


conducting research, constructing hypotheses,
gathering information, analyzing the data, and adjusting
our response accordingly. While Art of teaching is focus
on developing learners to think like an artist, to
appreciate, improved on whatever knowledge he has
gained and skills he acquired, Art of teaching is
innovative way of teaching to get the attention of the
learners.

 Teacher is noble profession because they are
selfless, they teaches lesson but they also motivate
and inspired the young generation to strive harder to
achieved their goal in life . Teacher is behind in every
successful profession here on earth. And seeing there
student success make them the proudest. For me
being educator is a great honor and responsibility

2. Why do you want to be a teacher?


 Aside for stability in the future, teacher is a calling, I
honestly prayed for God to what is my purpose in life
then I just woke up one morning and said I want to be
a teacher. To share my experiences, learning’s, to
motivate and inspired young generation. that seeing
them successful in life is a great honor .

3. Why teaching considered both science and art?

In teaching it’s important that we are knowledgeable


enough to the lesson we are going to impart to the
learners, so first we do research, gather data, do some
research and evaluate how the learners get it and to add
the flavor we used the art of innovative teaching where we
can get the learners attention to inspired them more and
improved their skills.

4. Explain the essence of the poem ‘’ the Powerful


teacher’’

 There a bisaya saying sa akong teacher permi“ sa


tumoy raka sa ballpen ‘’ that’s how powerful the
teacher is. In the classroom siya ang BATAS. its all
depend to a teacher how he educate the student. She
control the weather in every classroom story .

5. Explain
 Education is life not a Prepartion for life .
Nowadays kung mag teacher gali first jud ana ang
stability especially sa public mo work .. but for me
education is a calling its gives life para maka survive
ta, it teaches not the lesson for a particular subject
but it teaches as the values to survive in life in the
future.
 When I hear, I forget
 When I see, I remember
 When I do, I understand

Relation to a classroom story every student hears to the


discussion but forget after, but when they look again there
notes they remember. And the teacher will ask do you
understand. Then the student said yes I do understand.
