Situation 2: Advocacy to barangay captains to increase the allowance of BNSs

 BNSs plays vital role to fight malnutrition, now is the time to support BNSs by increasing
their allowance.
 A 2000 pesos allowance of BNSs does not reciprocate their service and their significance
in caring malnourished and the nutritionally vulnerable children. An increase of funds for
BNSs program is a great investment for healthier Filipino children.
 Every community needs BNSs, make more BNSs by increasing their allowance now!
 BNSs delivers nutrition and nutrition-related services to every barangay, a 2000 pesos
allowance for the efforts of BNSs is insufficient to deliver nutrition for themselves.
Additional allowance is a must!
 Malnutrition and stunting are prevalent issues in remote areas in the Philippines due to
lack of BNSs, an increase of allowance can motivate an individual to be part of this
program.
