CIRCULAR
As notified in the CBSE Circular No.CBSE/AFF/2021/JAN/ dated 07.01.2021 (Circular
No.01/2021) regarding re-engineering of affiliation process and receipt of applications of
affiliation from 1st March onwards, the Board has now started the pre-affiliation process
activities for Schools.
In this regard, as required, the Board is going to organize visual pre affiliation introductory
sessions as per following schedule before receipt of applications. This will acquaint the
interested schools regarding the provisions laid down in Affiliation Bye Laws 2018 as well
as the process of Affiliation/ Upgradation etc. for hassle-free and timely submission of
complete applications by the schools:-

from 2 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
A detailed document on CBSE School Affiliation System containing the re-structured online
procedure for Affiliation, required documents, modalities and Standard Operating
Procedures for inspections, guidelines for inspection committee and videos for various
processes will also be uploaded on CBSE website by 01.03.2021 for perusal by schools. It
is requested that the schools may familiarize themselves with the manual before attending
the online sessions.
All schools interested in Fresh Affiliation /Upgradation of Affiliation /Extension of Affiliation
and other categories of Applications in near future may accordingly register themselves for
above-said training sessions of the Board via link available at www.cbse.nic.in from 1st
March, 2021 to 8th March, 2021 against the respective scheduled sessions.
The above scheduled interactions will be useful for schools and facilitate them applying for
affiliation from around mid March 2021 onwards. The exact date will be intimated soon.
