You are aware that Hon’ble Chief Minister released Jagananna Vidya
Deevena for eligible applications on April 19, 2021 and Jagananna Vasathi
Deevena on April 28, 2021.

It was requested to ensure that all eligible applications are

processed and reach the sanction stage before the amounts were released
by the hon’ble CM on April 19/28, 2021.
Still, few thousands of applications are not yet processed and they
are pending at different levels. There is a bad practice of processing of the
applications of post matric scholarships scheme throughout the year and
even in the next academic year, thereby depriving the students of the
benefit of the scheme in the year in which the course is being studied.
However, keeping in view the fact that few fresh applications are
filed in April for some courses, where the admissions are completed late,
and to have discipline in the system of processing of the applications by
the students, colleges and office staff, and to ensure that the scheme
benefits reach the students immediately, it is decided to prescribe the
following revised and final timelines for the applications received for JVD
Schemes for the academic year 2020-21.

In case, the student/college does not ensure that their application is

processed within above timelines, then they will not be having any
right/claim for sanction of the scheme for the current academic year. The
applications will be frozen and rejected after completion of the timelines
prescribed.
It is once again requested to process the pending applications
immediately, without waiting till the above timelines are reached.
All the Principals are requested to bring the above to the notice of
the students concerned. The names of such pending students are also
displayed in the home page of the login of the college in jnanabhumi
portal for ready reference.
