PEACH (light pink or peach)
R1: 6 sc sc in magic ring. (6)
R2: (inc, sc, inc) x 2 times (10)
R3: (sc4, inc) x 2 times (12)
R4: (sc2, inc) x 4 times (16)
R5: (sc3, inc) x 4 times (20)
R6: (sc4, inc) x 4 times (24)
R7: (sc3, inc) x 6 times (30)
R8: (sc4, inc) x 6 times (36)
R9-R14: sc all around (36)
R15: (sc4, dec) x 6 times (30)
R16: (sc3, dec) x 6 times (24)
R17: (sc2, dec) repeat 6 times (18)
Attach eyes between R12 and R13, about 5 st’s apart. Begin to stuff.

R18: (sc1, dec) x 6 times (12)

Add more stuffing to make it nice and firm, be careful to not overstuff. You want the bottom
of the peach to be flat, not round.
R19: (dec) x 6 (6)
Finish off and weave in the end.

LEAVES (green – make 2)

Leave a tail about 15cm/6in long, chain 9. (You will need this tail to attach the leaves.)
Sc in second ch from hook, hdc, dc, tr in the next 4 st, dc, ch 1.
Go on to the other side. Dc, tr in the next 4st, dc, hdc, sc, sl st in to the first sc. Cut off yarn and
weave in the end.

The leaves will curl up a bit, that’s ok! Attach the leaves to the bottom of your peach with the
long tail. I run the needle through three spots on both sides of the middle line (as shown in the
picture above) to make it more secure. The leaves will cup the peach.

Add a mouth with yarn or embroidery thread. Use yarn, blush, chalk pastel, fabric paint, or
felt pieces to make little rosy cheeks.
