Capacity planning of work centre and importance of formula

in work centre :

Start time of my work center is 7

End time is 17

Break 1 hour so remaining hour left is 9 (a person can work 9 hour per a day )

Total number of person is 5

Therefore total capacity utilization is 45 hour (means 9*5=45)

If I will not maintain formula in the capacity tab then capacity planning will not calculate in CM01
despite of utilising this work centre in the operation of maintenance order .
In the above figure I have used this work centre in two operation for first one this work centre has
utilised for 10 hour and second for 20 hour so total has been used 30 hour .If I have not used
formula in the capacity tab then in cm01 it will show 225 in the availability and in utilization it will
show 0 .

225 means per day utilization is 45 (this is 100% utilization ) so for 5 days 45*5=225

Despite of not assigning the factory calender in the work centre it is taking for 5 days in a week .

If I have maintained formula in the work centre

Then make a maintenance order a used this work centre in the operation
Run CM01 tranasction for know about the availability of that work centre

1.how many hour has been booked in the operation

2.total availabity for the week 19.2021

3.how many hour (percentage) has been booked in the operation

4.remaining availability in the week 19.2021

If user want to know in which work orders operation has contained this work centre for this week 19
.2021
Operations start date time and end date time in a maintenance order operation

Generally the start time is picking from work centre start time but we can change it by selecting this
operation and click on date tab here we can choose must start on then give the date

End time will be after 2 hour from the start time (here I have taken 2 hour )

The more 13 minute with the end time is coming due to the break (60 minute divided by 4 =
13minute something (9/2=4 still one hour left ))

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OPERATION

Maintaining the relationship 0020 operation with the operation 0010 (both 0010 and 0020 operation
will be perform at the same time so we maintain ss relationship between 0010 and 0020 )
The end date is more because the first operation length is 2 hour but the second operation one is 20
hour so it will take more than 2 days because per day capacity is 9 hour .

Assign men power performace/ contribution person wise in the operation

Assign person in the hrms data of work centre

Then select that operation where user want to maintain the performance person wise
Here user select the person which he has maintained in the work centre hrms data and that work
centre must be used with this operation

Give his contribution work that should be less in the operational total work

After give the work duration and number person and total work in the operation this tab will be
active otherwise it will be not active .

Order headrer data scheduling date

Basic start date and finish date will be come as per the input of user

Scheduling start date and scheduling end date

If work centre length is 9 hour per a day

If the work centre will be utilised with in 9 hour per a day then it will take the work centre start time
and the operation finish time

I made this work order in the date 11.05 2021 but in the operation it took 12.05.2021

Because in 11.05.2021 the work centre has already booked for 11.05.2021
Start date is first operation satart date and start time

Scheduling finish date – finish date is finish operation date

Supposer I have 5 operation so the scheduling finish date is the finish date and time of the 5 th
number operation .
