such as religion, most individuals experience cognitive dissonance, a state in which
new ideas question a long-held view. Second, because it presents a competing
hypothesis to the widely accepted prevailing evolutionary paradigm of biological
origins, and as a result, it frequently encounters strong hostility from scientists. It
asserts that certain parts of nature result from an intelligent agency rather than a
natural accident or law-governed processes. For example, the highly accepted
theory of evolution, which proposes chance-law-governed mechanisms to explain
observed properties of life, is currently dominating scientific thought regarding the
origin of living species. Lastly, because it presents a possible challenge to scientists'

2. People accept these new discoveries despite being contradictory to what was
widely accepted because it is better than the old one. They experienced different
issues and realized that they could overcome them by using the concepts of the
discoveries. Moreover, these discoveries were accepted since they were backed up
by proof and scientific investigation. Even though these discoveries offered a
contradictory viewpoint, sufficient data were obtained through scientific research to
make it valid and acceptable for people. The world is constantly changing; thus, new
discoveries help people deal with its development.
