How Technology and Gadgets Affect the Studies of Children

Technology is applying scientific knowledge to the practical goals of human life, or, as it is
frequently stated, to the alteration and manipulation of the human environment. Humans can use
technology to analyze and evolve the physical elements in their existence. What does technology do for
young people today? How it helps people facilitate their work? Does it have a positive effect on our
lives?

As we all know, technology has become an integral component of our daily lives. The world would
be a misery if technology did not exist. The world is changing as a result of new technologies and
advanced gadgets. Nowadays, many children are using smartphones, tablets, televisions, and
computers. Developmentally appropriate technology use can aid in the growth and learning of young
children, especially when families and early educators play an active role. Early learners can utilize
technology to discover new worlds, play pretend, and actively participate in enjoyable and challenging
activities. Technology often presents children with problems and helps them learn how to make
decisions and solve those problems: improved problem solving and decision making.

Games and apps on tablets or smartphones can help give children the practice they need to find
success down the road. It helps young people to build their confidence and self-esteem. Assist them in
improving and better understanding their social interactions, as well as the community and world in
which they live. Social skills will enable individuals to advance in their personal and professional lives
and build meaningful relationships. Allow young people the freedom to be creative and express
themselves. This can provide young people with new perspectives that they have never considered or
were taught, resulting in them accepting others. You will assist them in evaluating the repercussions of
their actions so that they may make positive, well-informed decisions. This will help them in all aspects
of their lives, from social activities to professional endeavors. Technology has many advantages in young
people's lives, but there are also disadvantages or adverse effects on students. One of the most
common concerns about utilizing technology as a learning aid is that it will inevitably lead to pattern
learning. It is a style of learning or instruction in which pupils receive and assimilate knowledge from the
instructor. Whereby students take an active or participatory role in the learning process. Another factor
of childhood obesity is a lack of physical activity. When people of all ages are less vigorous, they tend to
acquire weight. Exercise burns calories and aids in the maintenance of a healthy weight. The negative
impacts are all the result of excessive or improper use of electronics or technology. Overuse of devices,
or youngsters who are addicted to technology/gadgets such as tablets, laptops, computers, cellphones,
video games, and so on, can impair students' self-motivation, ability, and enthusiasm in studying. It is
dangerous for a pupil who exceeds their technological limits.

Technology helps young people discover the things they want to know or learn quickly and easily.
But as a parent, you should still guide children in its use. Teach them how to use it properly and the
limits of its use. Let us not allow them to become addicted to its use and harm them.
