You are a group of travelers, aged 20-39. (four Indians, three Americans, and three Chinese,
three lsraelis, and two Saudis) who started their first visit to the Indian desert on 21 March
2020 around 12 noon. Despite the recent servicing of the vehicle, the vehicle mat functioned
approximately 5 in the evening. Your vehicle has a half-tank of petrol. You enjoyed for a
couple of hours the beauty of the desert. Your groups shot videos, took selfies, ate the packed
lunch, and consumed all snacks, drinks, and ready-to-cat meals. There are no mobile
networks (your electronic gadgets were switched off due to no power), no walky-talky, and
no satellite phones. You and your group has lost the track to return to the base camp. After
walking around 10 miles in the desert, you found a thirsty and perhaps an ill camel. All you
can see is extremely dim lights at two opposite directions; howevef, unsure of the direction as
one leads to the international border. Around eleven, there is an almost a quarrel like situation
on which direction to go and the whole group gets divisions. As the night progresses the
temperature goes down to 5 degree Celsius. The night passed by and with Covid-19 situation,
PM Modi announced nationwide lockdown. As a result, no more tourists are visiting the part
of the desert that you are stuck in. Whether you choose a leader or spilt into smaller groups,
you must reach the base camp before sunrise and take necessary items for your and your
group's survival.
