St. James Catholic Church, Neshkoro, is having a ST. JOHN’S CHURCH PICNIC - How can you help?
“MINI-FEST” Sunday, August 8, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14 – We will need help setting up the gym
(attached to this bulletin is a list of the picnic workers). for dinner and the different areas outside.
There will be a Silent Auction, Kids games, Pull Tabs, Sunday, August 15 – We will need your delicious homemade
Dice Game, Beer Garden, Food Booth serving hot ham pies and cakes. We will need people to help complete the setup
sandwiches, burgers and brats. The Big Raffle Drawing will be 9:00 - 11:00 AM, then 11:00 – 2:00 PM serve dinner, clean
at 2:00 PM. The ham & chicken dinner for this year is cancelled tables, wash dishes, park cars, supervise games, bartend and
due to virus concerns. then finish outside cleanup at 3:00 PM. All help is greatly
Tickets for the Big Raffle are available in church at the front appreciated. Please give an hour or two of your time. A signup

ST. JAMES PICNIC – BAKE SALE
Don’t forget the Bake Sale at our St. James “Mini Fest”!! We
know we have a lot of wonderful bakers out there. We are in
need of your delicious prepackaged bakery items for the
Bake Sale (i.e. cookies 6 per package).
• If you wish to bring baked goods in on Friday, August 6,
from 9:00–11:00 AM, please see Mary Klier in the Rectory.
• If you would like to bring in the baked goods on Saturday,
August 7, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, or Sunday, August 8,
before Mass, there will be some tables in church to place
the items on.

ST. JAMES PICNIC – Where your help is needed


• Thursday, August 5, at 5:00 PM -- The Lions need your
help with the big tent. Weather permitting, the tent will be
set up for the St. James “Mini Fest”.

• Friday, August 6 at 8:00 AM – we will set up for the


Mini-Fest.

• Monday, August 9, at 4:30 PM – the Lions will take down


the big tent (weather permitting).
