CATHOLIC SCHOOLS INFORMATION WEEKEND

Weekend of August 14-15, the Diocese of Madison is asking
all parishes throughout the Diocese to assist in the promotion of
the importance of Catholic Schools. It is important to note that
there will not be a collection taking place in parishes that
weekend; rather, we will use this opportunity to educate
parishioners on the importance of Catholic Schools, why they
exist, and how they are making a difference. Information
brochures are at the entrance of the church. For an opportunity
to show your support, check out the August 12 th edition of the
Catholic Herald or go to www.madisondiocese.org/support to
give online.

ST. JOHN’S CHURCH PICNIC – Online Auction

St. John’s Picnic Online Auction starts at Noon on Saturday,
August 7, with all auctions ending by 2:00 PM on
Sunday, August 15.

If you are interested in tickets to a preseason Packer Game

or some Badger Men’s football, basketball and hockey games,
golf at Sondalle’s White Lake or Waushara Country Club, then
you will want to check it out! Hunters will also want to take a
look at Lone Oaks Shooting Preserve’s pheasant hunt and the
duck skiff that is available. Get together with friends for a Vines
and Rushes wine tasting. Snag a gift certificate to go shopping
at Kim’s She Shed for antiques, handmade soaps and fairy
houses, or enjoy dining at SIlvercryst. Looking for that certain
piece for your home? There is a beautiful painting of a
swallowtail butterfly on lilacs by the Huckleberry Artist and a
lovely antique desk. Maybe you need what Brewer Heating has
to offer! Or maybe you just want to get away for the weekend
and go to Milwaukee to wander through their great museums.

You can find the link to the auction on St. John’s website
www.stjohnprince.org.

Please note the ending time for each auction item. They
have been staggered this year to make it easier to put in a final
bid if you are interested in more than one item. You will also
want to check back during the week just in case we add any new
items. If you are interested in a donation, call Dave Golz
(920/260-1559).
