CCW BAKE SALE – AT THE CHURCH PICNIC
AUGUST 14 (Sunday)
The CCW will be running the Bake Sale at our church picnic on
August 14 (Sunday).
If parishioners would like to donate bake sale items, the items can
be dropped off at St. James Place during the following dates and
times:
• August 12 (Friday) – 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• August 13 (Saturday) – before 4:00 PM Mass
• August 14 (Sunday) – before 9:30 AM Mass

NATIONAL SHRINE OF ST. PHILOMENA

There will be two Masses for St. Philomena this Feast time
at the National Shrine of St. Philomena:
• August 10 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM – a Mass will be
celebrated by Father Michael Tarigopula from “St.
Philomena Parish”, Belmont, WI.
• August 11 (Thursday) at 2:00 PM – a Mass with Bishop
Donald J. Hying officiating. Eucharistic Adoration will be
from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a reception after
Mass. St. Philomena Pray for Us.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS INFORMATIONAL WEEKEND
The weekend of August 13-14, the Diocese of Madison is
asking all parishes throughout the Diocese to assist in the
promotion of the importance of Catholic Schools. Please note
that there will not be a collection taking place in parishes that
weekend; rather, we will use this opportunity to educate
parishioners on the importance of Catholic Schools, why they
exist, and how they are making a difference. Informational
brochures will be attached to next week’s bulletin.

THE CCW IS EXTENDING THEIR COLLEGE
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The St. James Council of Catholic Women (CCW) is offering
TWO $500 College Scholarships to two high school students
who are attending high school in either Marquette, Green Lake
or Waushara Counties. The parents or grandparents of the
students must be members of St. James Catholic Church in
Neshkoro, WI. Additionally, the students must be baptized
Catholics who attend Mass.
The Scholarship application forms are in the St. James
church office. The applicants must go to his/her school
counselor and get their Student I.D. Number (which is needed
on the application). Once the application is filled out, return it to
the St. James church office. The deadline to turn in your
application is AUGUST 31, 2022.
