CONGRATULATIONS TO FATHER GRUBBA

Road America and NASCAR have once again invited Father Grubba
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS PANCAKE BREAKFAST
to give the invocation at this weekend’s NASCAR races at
Road America in Elkhart Lake. This is the second consecutive year JULY 3 (Sunday) - 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
that Father Grubba has been honored. Father will be putting on quite Location: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Hall

and his four Masses at his parishes in Princeton and Neshkoro.
The Knights of Columbus (Sacred Heart Council #6228) will hold

their Pancake Breakfast at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church hall in
Wautoma on Sunday, July 3, from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
The breakfast will include all you can eat pancakes, sausage,
eggs, applesauce, coffee, milk, and juice. The cost is as follows:
Adults $8.00
Children ages 6-12 $5.00

THE CCW IS EXTENDING THEIR COLLEGE

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The St. James Council of Catholic Women (CCW) is offering
TWO $500 College Scholarships to two high school students
who are attending high school in either Marquette, Green Lake
or Waushara Counties. The parents or grandparents of the
students must be members of St. James Catholic Church in
Neshkoro, WI. Additionally, the students must be baptized
Catholics who attend Mass.
The Scholarship application forms are in the St. James
church office. The applicants must go to his/her school
counselor and get their Student I.D. Number (which is needed
on the application). Once the application is filled out, return it to
the St. James church office. The deadline to turn in your
application is AUGUST 31, 2022.

PRAYER FOR THE 4TH OF JULY
On this Independence Day I am reminded of all those who
have sacrificed for my freedom, following the example of your
Son, Jesus Christ. Let me not take my freedom, both physical
and spiritual, for granted. May I always remember that my
freedom was purchased with a very high price. My freedom cost
others their very lives.
Lord, today, bless those who have served and continue to
give their lives for my freedom. With favor and bounty meet their
needs and watch over their families.
Help me to live my life in a way that glorifies you, Lord. Give
me the strength to be a blessing in someone else's life today,
and grant me the opportunity to lead others into the freedom that
can be found in knowing Christ. Amen
