TESTING mode.
2. USB CONECTION ACTIBITY TEST:
1. FIRMWARE REV 1.3 & 1.3B:
1. On X-ray client log in screen, press ‘UD2’ button on AOCP membrane
revision 1.0 (light gray background) to test USB connectivity between
AOCP device and PC.

Astrophysics Service Center if the problem persists.

POWER SOURCE

Problem Solution
1. ‘STANDBY’ indicator is NOT Checking a power key switch is ‘SYSTEM POWER’ to ‘OFF’
blinking while a machine is OFF. position.
(NOTE: Apply ONLY AOCP firmware
revision 1.0)
2. ‘POWER’ indicator does NOT ON. Checking a power key switch is on ‘SYSTEM POWER’ ‘ON’
position. If the problem persists, set ‘SYSTEM POWER’ to
‘OFF’ position and perform self-testing on an AOCP unit
(See AOPC self-test instruction above).
3. A green LED (LED3) on AOCP Measure DC voltage between on terminal 8 (+12 VDC) and
system interface board does NOT 9 (GND) on a TB1 that should be read 12 VDC on DMM. If
ON. (See Figure 2) NOT, check:

1. +/- 12VDC spade terminals are tighten on terminal 8

(+12 VDC) and 9 (GND) on TB1.
2. +/- 12 VDC main power supply is working.

4. A green LED (LED13) on AOCP Measure DC voltage between on test pins of TB4 (+12 VDC)
main board does NOT ON. (See and TP6 (GND) that the reading value should be +12 VDC

1. A RED (RJ-45) connector is firmly plugged into JP8

(RJ-45) socket.
2. On AOCP Interface board, a RED (RJ-45) connector
is also firmly plugged into JP4 (RJ-45) socket.
3. Measure DC voltage between on test pins of TB5
(+5 VDC) and TP6 (GND) that should be read 5
VDC on DMM. If NOT, replace AOCP main board.

OPERATION

Problem Solution
5. AOCP is NOT function properly. 1. Restart a machine. If the problem persists go next
step.

2. Perform USB connectivity connection test. If the

problem persists, go to next step.

3. Set a power key switch to OFF position. Perform

self-testing. If NOT, go to next step (NOTE: Applying
ONLY AOCP firmware revision 1.3 and above).

3. If the problem persists, replace the AOCP main

board.

DIAGNOSTIC

AOCP self-testing failed Go to Problem 3 & 4 on POWER SOURCE section above. If the
problem persists, replace the AOCP main board.
AOCP USB connection AOCP is able to detect on USB connection activity, which is ONLY on

AOCP Interface board:

1. A RED (RJ-45) connector is firmly plugged into JP4 (RJ-45) socket.

2. A BLUE (RJ-45) connector is also firmly plugged into JP3 (RJ-45)

socket.

3. A USB cable is firmly plugged into JP2 socket (remove and insert
cable from and into JP2 socket several times); also checking the USB
cable on USB connector on PC. If the problem persists, replace USB
cable.
