ABSTRACT
Background of study :
Adolescence is the period of rapid growth and development, physically, psychologically, and
intellectually. This period is a period of preparation for adulthood that will go through several important
stages of development in life.
Reasearch Method :
The Research method in this study is quantitative research, the type of research is quasi experiment.The
design of this research was pre experiment , which used two groups of pretest posttest. The sample
used was 20 respondents. Data analysis was performed using the data normality test with Shapiro-Wilk
with significance <0.05
Research Result :
There was a difference average dysmenorrhea in the intervention group before and after being given
effleurage massage with a result of (P-value 0.005,) . There was a significant difference also in the
intervention group before and after being given endorphin massage with a result (P-value = 0,000).
The mean rank effleurage massege is 10.25 and endorphine messege is 10.75.
Conclusion : Based on data analysis that has been done, there is a decrease in the level of pain in the
intervention group after being given a effleurage massage than the level of pain in the intervantion
group after being a endorphine messege , so the conclusion is decrese of dysmomenorrhea intensity
after being given endorphine messege more efective than being given effeleurage massege.
