1 Important information regarding installation

If a previous V11.xx of Scope was installed the following steps have to be taken:
 Install V11.18 (Do not start it, before processing next point)
 Rename existing folder "DefaultVVS11" folder in the path
C:\ProgramData\SBT\RainbowScope\OEM (i.e. DefaultVVS11.bak)
 Start Scope and follow Chapter 2 below. After Chapter 2.1 check last point here in the list.
 Check OEM project path. If path is written in red color then close Scope and open again. Now the
path should be visible in black color.

2 Getting started with Scope V11.18

2.1 Create a new project or open an existing project

2.2 Set Authentification

Select first the interface.
Authentification Password is needed to connect to a Climatix Controller. If no Authentifiaction is set in the
Climatix Controller for the selected interface then leave this field empty.

It is suggested to connect to the device now (if available) in order to be sure, that the connection settings are
correct.

3 Before using Watch-Pages

3.1 Important information!

Scope V11.18 is offering predefined Watch-Pages that are containing the systeminformation of your
Climatix controller:

However, during processing of the Watch-Pages Scope V11.18 will present some error-messages which
can be prevented by following the steps in Chapter 3.2

3.2 Necessary changes for the use with Watch-Pages

By right-clicking on the Tab “Watch Pages” and click on “Save Watch Pages” the following tow error
messages will appear.

Please do the following steps to get the errors resolved:

1. Select the tab “Project”
2. Double click the “Main overview”
3. Right click on the text aside the red sign and delete this entry

4. Select the tab “System”

5. Scroll down to page “Page65400” and double-click it
6. Mark the two lines with the red sign and delete both entries (right-click and select “Delete” from the
drop-down menu

7. Scroll down to page “Page32076” and double-click it

8. Right-click on the Page Link and select “Delete” from the drop-down menu

9. Enable JSON-Mapping or Cloud-Mapping (JSON for HMI4Web and WebPictureConfigurator; Cloud

for Climatix IC). Please only enable necessary mappings to save device memory.

10. Right-click on the Tab “Watch Pages” and click on “Save Watch Pages” now all errors are removed.

11. Change to Mapping Support, Right-click into the free space after the last mapping in the list, select
“Import and Export” and then “ Import”

12. Select GenericJSON. Rename Mapping with a suitable name. Repeat for GenericCloud if
necessary.

13. Tick all necessary mappings. For example:

14. In Scope V11.18 the mapping „Translation 2“ is filled with temporary data. This should be deleted
(double-click „Translation 2“, mark all content in the appearing table and delete it, save it) before it
could be ticked otherwise an error message will appear.

 Now adding of own Watch Pages can start. A good starting point would be the user guide
„A6V101099045 HMI4Web and dynamic web graphics“
