Changes In Non-living Things

Physical Change
A physical change is one in which no new substance is formed and
can be easily reversed. For example, a frozen can of water when
exposed to a high temperature will change from solid form to liquid
form. This liquid can be reversed to the solid ice form if it is taken into
a freezer with a very low temperature.
Chemical Change
A chemical change is one in which a new substance is produced and is not
easily reversed.
For example, when a piece of paper is burnt with fire, the paper is reduced
to ash. This ash cannot be reversed to a paper.
