Step 1 to 5
 A flash memory card (called a storage card) is a small storage device that uses to store
data It is used in a variety of input devices like digital camera, digital media player and
many more to capture the data and then to transfer it to the computers.
 Flash memory is often used to hold control code such as the basic input/output system in
a personal computer.
 Flash memory is inside your smartphone, GPS, MP3 player, digital camera, PC and the
USB drive on your key chain. Solid-state drives (SSD) using flash memory are replacing
hard drives in netbooks and PCs and even some server installations.
 Flash memory card is a type of electrically erasable programmable permanent memory.

Step 2 to 5
 There are various flash memory cards like CompactFlash (CF) ...
 Secure Digital Card (SD card)
 MiniSD Card
 MicroSD
 MultiMediaCard (MMC)
 Sony Memory Sticks
 SmartMedia
 xD-Picture Card

 Only one flash memory card that is Secure Digital Card (SD) is beneficial for consumers
but there size may vary.

Three compatible Size (SD Card)

 MicroSD (15 mm × 11 mm)
 MiniSD (21.5 mm × 20 mm)
 SD (32 mm × 24 mm)

Secure digital card

• Secure digital card is a mini-external storage medium and flash memory card.
• It is a non-volatile memory card which is used for portable devices.
• It is used in digital cameras, cellular phones and music player also.
• It is versatile and easy to use and holds 2GB data.

Step 3 to 5
A single standard of flash memory card can be less expensive and more convenient because the
fact less expensive or more expensive is dependent on their holding capacity whether your data
is too small or too large. In addition, it is easy to carry and plug and play device and connect with
computer USB port. It is flexible and upgrades data.

Step 4 to 5
Yes, a single standard of flash memory card can be naturally evolved and there is no need to
mandate by the government or storage industry. One can buy and use it according to needs and
requirements.
Step 5 to 5
When selecting the best memory card to buy, one of the first points to note is the amount of
storage they offer, i.e. the memory size.

The sizes have increased remarkably in recent years. Some years ago size of 1GB would have
been large, but nowadays 128 GB is not uncommon.

When the single user uses multiple types of flash memory cards, he will not prefer them to be of
the same size. Normally he prefers to have a single flash memory that is capable of holding all
the data he wishes to store. If one flash memory card can done everything and solves all
requirements then why should he use multiple types of cards?

ANSWER 2

In my opinion an appropriate input device and which is common in the types of hardware named
“KEYBOARD.” It is helpful for the elderly who most often have reduced motor skills and lower
vision issues. Keyboard is being the primary input device because it has larger keys with colors
to enable even the visually damaged to use the keys. Wireless keyboards are also available to
reduce the hassle of wiring the devices.

ADVANTAGES:

 Keyboard as an input device it can meet the requirements of the senior citizens. The senior
citizens have not to depend on others for internet access

 One can store its desired data in computer by the help of keyboard. In case of any changes in
data, one can make changes by typing in existing data not to right again like on paper.

 Even today it becomes easier to type on over touch screen so by the help of this one can save
his or her data in portable devices.

 Enables fast entry of new text into a document Well tried technology and well known method of
entry

 Most people find them easy to use Easy to do verification check as data is entered, as it appears
on the screen simultaneously

DISADVANTAGES:

 In today’s world latest technology like voice recognized input software has disruptive innovation
for the keyboards.

 Many faster ways are available for long typing instead of using slow method such as scanning
and dictation.

 Frustration can be occurred for those who have not touch-typing skills.

 Users with limited arm/wrist use can find keyboards hard to use Entering data is slow when
compared to direct data entry (e.g. Optical mark recognition) They use up desk space as they are
quite large
