2.2 EARNED VALUE ANALYSIS

SPI means (Schedule performance index). On basis of SPI, we can know the current project status according
to plan. If SPI value is less than 1, we are behind the schedule and if SPI is greater than 1, we are ahead of
schedule.
As we have SPI value upto 25-Nov-16 is 0.32
we are behind of schedule. The critical issue that hinders the project progress are:

 land hold between P 437 TO P 419 ( Sabarmati Railway Station Land )

 Telecom Lines – BSNL line found at location P 480 – P 488
 Location P451 – P457 on hold due to change in alignment.
 GFC of Pile P 451 – P 457 not issued
 GFC Drawing for Pier Cap not issued for P 443 , P 445 – P 447
 High Tension Line (At P400,P511,P512,P513)
 Shopping Encroachment and Private Land ( P 396 – P 402 )
 Strom water line of 1400 mm Ø between P537 to P514.
 Water supply line of 450 mm Ø between P 480 to P 487
 Water supply line of 1400 mm Ø between P 537 to P 487 MS line
 GFC of pile P 442 to P 438 not issued
 Dimension and Reinforcement GFC of curved span not issued
 GFC of Pile P 421 to P 426
 Dimensional Details of parapet
 Pedestal Drawing
 Earthing Strip GFC
 Dimensional Drawing of Bearing

14.4 EARNED VALUE ANALYSIS

The Cost Performance Index (CPI) is a measure of the cost efficiency of budgeted resources, expressed as a ratio of earned value to actual cost.”
The Cost Performance Index helps you analyze the efficiency of the cost utilized by the project. It measures the value of the work completed compared to the actual cost spent
on the project.
