Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent s
the Supervisory Voucher Examiner (Certifying) under th
supervision of the Financial Management Specialist and
Major Duties:
oversees the Voucher Section: two Supervisory Vouche
Examiners, seven Voucher Examiners and one Voucher
within the Financial Management Center. The incumben
performs a variety of assignments related to processing
payment vouchers of 35 agencies. Provides guidelines t
grantees, Vendors, and various sections of the Embassy
Studies rules and regulations of the U.S. Government an
makes decisions relative to area of responsibility. Provid
guidance to three consulates and trains them regarding
processing. FSN certifying officer of vouchers up to $25
strip code.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years of progressively resp
experience in accounting, vouchering, finance, or manag
field is required. JOB KNOWLEDGE: The incumbent mu
Requirements: have/be able to attain knowledge of diverse accounting
fiscal procedures and regulations of various U.S. Govern
agencies. S/he must have familiarity with the Mission
