1. EN81-21 RESET INSTRUCTIONS


If the safety system of reduced pit/headroom is ON, resetting the controller from the controller cabinet is necessary before a
normal operation. This should be necessary after opening a landing door by means of a key.

The reset only will be possible if:


• The inspection control on the top of the car is in “NORMAL” position.
• The inspection control in the controller cabinet is in “NORMAL” position.
• Both movable stops (under car and under counterweight) are in INACTIVE Position. This could be checked if the visual
signals of each movable stop are both RED.
• The lower part of the counterweight screen is correctly assembled.
• The car roof balustrades are FOLDED. (Only if applies).
• The foldable Apron is FOLDED (only for reduced pit).
• The STOP devices in pit and car roof are OFF.
• All landing doors and car door are correctly closed and locked and LED 119A is ON:
