KidEx Classes for Top 50 Schools in NARC 2020-21: Rules, Guidelines, Terms & Conditions

Thanks for showing interest in classes organized by KidEx. Kindly take a note of the important rules, guidelines,
Terms and condition applicable for KidEx Classes.

1. KidEx conducts ONLINE extra-curricular & co-curricular classes for children across 5 development themes
a. Cognitive skills (E.g., Chess, Rubik’s Cube, Vedic Maths)
b. Creativity & Imagination skills (E.g. Cartooning, Folk Arts)
c. Language & Communication skills (E.g. Sign Language, Public Speaking)
d. Socio-emotional skills (E.g. Short movie making, Acting/Role play)
e. Physical skills (E.g. Karate, Yoga)
2. KidEx will organize classes for 5 activities, 1 each across the 5 development themes for your school. Your school
featured in the Top 50 schools based on Holistic Development Index in the National All Rounder Championship,
2020 - 2021. Your school has earned these classes as an award for securing Top 50 position in the country. For
avoidance of any doubt, there are no charges.
3. The same set of students will receive classes for all 5 selected activities. For avoidance of any doubt, the
composition of batches cannot be changed after their formation.
4. A digital course completion certificate will be issued to all students, subject to minimum required level of
attendance, on successful completion of all 5 activities. A report card capturing the performance of the students
may be issued capturing the child’s score across the 5 activities.
5. All the classes would be organized during the selected time slot. For avoidance of doubt, classes for all 5
activities will be conducted in the same time slot.
6. All the classes would be conducted using ZOOM software for ease of classes coordination & management.
Students are expected to install ZOOM by themselves on their systems & no support would be provided to
students to install ZOOM on their systems/devices.
7. For attending the class, the child should put Roll Number and Name as the display name on ZOOM. Example:
for a child with roll number “09C44” and Name “Rohit Kumar” should put the display name as “09C44 Rohit
Kumar”. Attendance will be recorded for every child based on the display name.
8. KidEx will keep a track of attendance for each student. KidEx retains the right to discontinue classes for individuals
and / or batches with poor attendance.
9. The classes would be 50-55 mins long & 40 to 45 minutes would be utilized by the coach to explain concepts and
remaining 10-15 mins would be interactive session basis the content of that class’ lecture.
10. Every activity’s classes are taken by topic specialists (best coaches curated by KidEx) as recommended by the
National Education Policy 2020
11. Every activity has a defined curriculum (ICSE/CBSE like course syllabus), as recommended by the National
Education Policy 2020, which would be followed by the coach during the classes ensuring children achieve learning
outcomes.
12. Every course comes with a self-assessment toolkit for the students to self-assess their learning levels (after 4th
class & 8th class) so that the coaches can cover the learning gaps in subsequent classes in a more focussed manner.

The same framework can be used for peer-to-peer assessment as well. As recommended by the National
Education Policy 2020.
13. Each activity has 10 classes in total which includes 8 classes to teach & 2 classes to clarify doubts or do exercises
for best learning outcomes.
14. A minimum of 30 students are required in a batch for the classes to be organized by KidEx (if the number of
attending students in a batch/class is less than 30; KidEx reserves the right to discontinue that batch or merge
that batch with another batch).
15. Kindly note that the classes for a school would not involve students from other schools i.e., classes for two or
more schools won’t be combined together.
16. KidEx reserves the right to decide the schedule of all such classes & will communicate the itinerary for all such
classes with registered students directly to eliminate any overhead or extra work for school management.
17. The class schedule would be decided for the batch by KidEx keeping in mind the convenience of majority of
students, but it does not guarantee that the schedule would work for every student. Some of the students may
not be able to attend the classes as the offered slots wont work for them (as they have other personal
commitments etc.) and KidEx is not responsible to organize classes for such students if the offered class schedule
does not work them.
18. No compensatory classes would be organized in case the students miss the classes.
19. The classes will be organized during May 2021 to Dec 2021. The school can specify which are the 2 months (max
2) in the which they do not want classes for students (due to exams or any other pre-planned school events during
the month). The selected months for no classes were displayed on the registration form.
20. All the classes for any activity for a given batch will happen during the same month (or 30-day period). E.g., All
Chess classes will happen during June 2021 for Batch 1.
21. Different batches may have different activity classes happening during the same month. E.g., Batch 1 has Chess in
May 2021 but Batch 3 has Cartooning in May 2021.
22. All batches may not have classes in all the months E.g., Batch 1 has no classes during May 2021.
23. If due to insufficient students in a class, KidEx is required to discontinue the batch or merge two or more batches,
the individual classes of each the concerned batch(es) would be considered as lapsed & only the merged batches
(if applicable) classes would be conducted for free.
24. KidEx reserves the right to record classes selectively for audit purposes & may create a few classes as self-learning
video tutorials.
25. KidEx reserves the right to update the terms & conditions from time to time keeping in mind the best interests of
all involved parties, customer experience, class quality & cost of organizing the class. All such changes would be
communicated to concerned individuals timely.
26. KidEx reserves the right to discontinue classes for a student, batch or school in cases of misconduct, use of foul
language, and / or misrepresentation.
