1. Course description
This course aims to enhance the students’ Chinese skills in a business context through listening,
speaking, reading and writing with emphasis on conversational patterns and idiomatic
expressions. By the end of the semester students are expected to (1) acquire more Chinese
business vocabulary and expressions. (2) use Chinese in business settings
comfortably.(3)understand Chinese business culture.

2. Course requirements
Students are required to review the conversation and memorize the key Chinese characters and
expressions after each class. Students are also required to preview the new lesson before class.
