(3) provide pupils with the opportunity to gather data/sources to complete their
Inter-disciplinary Outdoor Project Tasks.
The pupils’ Project Work form an integral part of the assessment component. It is
our hope that working in teams will also enable our pupils to develop their 21st
Century Skills and help them grow into self-directed learners and confident
communicators.
The pedagogy used for each trip focused on Problem-Based Learning. Regent
has created its own unique PBL framework (using the acronym ‘APPEAR’) which
is meaningful for our pupils:
