SUBJECT : Position-A adjustment for KS500/600 Series

[Brief]
New Test Mode No.91 (Position-A adjustment) has been added to prevent E3 (Clamp Motor Lock)
by preventing overrun of the Drum on KS500/600 series which KS800 series are already equipped with.

[Modification]
1.Added Test Mode No.91 (Position-A adjustment)
Test-mode No.91 has been changed the functions for KS500/600 series.

[Modification procedure]
Step 1 Replace the EPROM with a new version (KSS/V1.50)
Step 2 Replace the Drum Support BKT F with a new type if the machine has the old type.
Step 3 Remove the position-A sensor from the BKT and set the sensor in the additional holes on the BKT
as shown on the photo.

[Notice]
If you upgrade to KSS/Ver. 1.50 on an old type Drum Support BKT F, E3 (Clamp Motor Lock) might occur.

The position-A of a drum

has shifted.

*After Upgrade to “KSS/Ver. 1.50” of the machine with a old type “Drum Support BKT F”.
